Most shoes I buy seem too tight. They take a lot of breaking in. Not these. They felt comfortable from the get-go. My feet do slip right in (I use long handle shoehorn). The Amazon write-up recommended that I order a size smaller than usual. I take a 10.5 and they said I should order a 10. I didn't. Good thing, too, because my toes are right at the front of the shoe where they belong. 10 would have been too short. The only negative is that the insoles are made of foam that is a bit too soft. But I prefer to remove the insoles and replace them with orthotics anyway. Sometimes, if a shoe is already too tight, I can't get both the orthotics and my foot into it. These I can. The orthotics support my arch and the shoe is still comfortable. I just ordered another pair.

Received these shoes.. went shopping. I couldn't believe how great they feel. I wear a 10 1/2 W I hear these sometimes run a bit larger. So I ordered my size.. They were a Perfect Fit!! I'm telling you these are more comfortable to walk around in than my ASICS walking shoes.. Don't ask me how they did it. I couldn't explain it.

These are the best fitting shoes I've had in a long time! My foot is normal width, but an odd size: one foot is size 12, the other 12.5. Since most companies don't make a 12.5, my shoes are usually a compromise of too big on one side and too small on the other. Somehow, these are perfect on both side. If I have to have a complaint, it would be a very small one about how easily the tread picks up small rocks.

Bought these a year ago. The soles have started to give way. Nothing is made to last.

I bought a pair of Cole Haan black loafers that I finally wore out. It was my favorite pair of semi dresses shoes. Seemingly made for my foot I had a tall order to find a shoe that could compare in terms of comfort and style. Now these shoes don't really have the style of the black Cole Haan loafers and I might have bought them 1/2 size too big because they are a hair loose. I like this shoe for its comfort and appearance. I needed a pair for work and they have answered the call to duty. Top grain leather. Rugged sole and butter soft outer shell make it an excellent New England shoe for walking the campus parkinglot and up to my office. My flat feet don't lie. These shoes are nade for walking and they are nice pair of shoes. I highly recommend them.I normally take a 13 but these seem to run 1/2 size bigger than I expected them to be. You won't be disappointed.

Sizes run large so suggest 1/2 larger than you normally wear. Pros : good price. Cons : heavy ; feels like a house shoe after wearing awhile ; even with a heavy rubber soke the inside sole becomes flat and provides no cushion after wearing for one day.
