This kadai is perfect. My previous kadai was a bit too small, but this one is ideal for large meals.I use it for everything: stir fries, braised dishes, stews, curries, gumbo, etc. A lot of my meals follow a similar process: add some oil/butter, cook the meat at high temperature until browned on all sides. Add spices & veggies, cook for a few more minutes. Then, add liquid (tomato sauce, coconut milk, broth, etc), and simmer until done.The shape & size are perfect. There are no sharp corners where food tends to stick. Nothing sticks to the bottom either - it's very easy to clean. Since it's tri-ply, it distributes heat evenly up the sides.The base is just the right size for frying, using only a little bit of oil. The large surface area at the top allows steam to escape. It never boils over, even with the lid on. With the lid off, you can reduce your liquids very quickly. In short: it does everything I hoped it would. No downsides.

It is durable product. Look good and easy to clean . When it comes to quality it rust. If you leave it on the counter without wiping then you see some amount of rust the next day. I double that it is 100% steal.
