Ten Little Babies

Our little one isn't so little, but at five is able to read this book on her own. The illustrations are so cute! All the little babies being counted down to none. Gyo had a way of drawing children and babies. We are thrilled with this book and so glad it is part of our Gyo Fujikawa collection!

This book was not in the condition it was listed as. It’s very dirty and bent out of shape. I’ve actually scrubbed it and a significant amount of the grime is not coming off. Gross. Fortunately all pages are in tact, but that’s way below the bar I had set for the condition listed.

We have several Gyo Fujikawa books. This is definitely a favorite. I like the rhyming storyline and colorful illustrations. During the course of the book, we can point out the different activities the children are involved in. We can practice counting. As always, the diversity of the children is a definite plus. I would most certainly recommend this book to others or purchase as a gift.

We checked this out at the library and my toddler loved it so much I felt like I had to get a copy. The illustrations have a lot going on so you can use that to point out different things every day and keep it interesting. Several months later she's still into the book. I feel we definitely got our money's worth out of it.

I run a day care out of my home and this book is always a favorite with the toddlers!

I read this to my children when they were young and am now reading it to my granddaughter. She is only five months old, but she loves the pictures of the babies! I wish more of Gyo Fukikawa's board books were still in print.

I love everything written by Gyo Fujikawa and my baby does too! The illustrations make the books, and as a child I could look at them for hours. This is a very cute counting book, simple and repetitive. I do wonder though...where all those babies ended up at the end of the book!! When you really pay attention to the words it starts to seem like those babies are all ending up someplace sinister...!

One of my favorites! I enjoy reading this book to my two girls, and essentially know it by heart now. I give this book as a gift to all new mothers I know.

A favorite read.

Mother Goose She is just the best when it comes to books for children. It is hard to find Gyo Fujikawa's books but it is worth the search. Every single kid I ever gave her books to just love them. Impecable and correct in all senses. Mother Goose
