It does work with the Fuji X-T2, if you know how to connect it...
Bought this for my Fuji X-T2 and am happy to report that it works fine with it. The other users are connecting it wrong or they have a broken remote/ camera port. It has to go into the lower part of the USB-3 connector. See (poor cellphone quality) photos. The only thing I wish it done was shut off when not being used - knocked off a star. 2 AAA batteries (not included) power the remote and should last a long time, even though it doesn't power down. Lots of features for a low cost. Remote itself feels solid. I did find a work around for the power off, or lack threrof, issue. I just cut a small piece of paper and stuck it between one battery lead - see photo. It blocks the connection and all you have to do is remove it when you use the remote. Takes all of 5 seconds. Or, replace your batteries quicker.

Great timer and shutter release
I do agree with some of the other reviews that it would be nice to turn it off fully even though the display consumes very little energy. The remote worked as advertised and seems to be well built. All functions worked well on my Fuji X-T1. I like the timed shop option as well as the ability to hold the shutter open for long exposure shots on Bulb mode. Make sure you read through the instructions so your camera is set properly for long exposures. The key for me is the ability to do the half press on the remote. Some of these do not offer that function and I don't like blindly clicking the shutter. This remote has the half press to focus and then you fully press to take the shot.Overall, very happy with this purchase.

You get what you pay for
I've now have used the SHOOT RR-90 LCD Shutter Remote several times and, considering it simply as a shutter button, it functions as expected. What is a major hassle - if you lightly bump the remote, the battery cover falls off. When this occurs in low light time's of day, it's a real pain to search for the dropped cover. If it wasn't for the next hassle I would tape the cover in place. Taping the battery cover on is not a practical option because of aother hassle ... there is no on/off switch for the batteries - to turn the thing off you must remove the batteries. I will continue to use this thing - for awhile - but I'll probably be buying the expensive Fuji remote.

Inexpensive solution for timed exposure
Inexpensive solution for timed exposure, timed multi-exposure, manual exposure, or just using as a simple remote cable. The timer works great for long time exposures. It even has a programmable delay before starting. If you use it for multi-exposure, this function will set the time to start the next exposure. This is great for night time photography of the stars, night time traffic, timed exposure for flowers opening up for the day, etc.I have had many of these timers for other cameras that I have owned and this one is right up there with the most expensive. Do yourself a favor, get this one and save your money.

Does the job, no on/off button
It works as needed. But does not have an on / off button so it remains turned on. You need to take out the batteries after use so you dont waste them
