Sometimes you get a lemon. That can happen, but that’s also when a company shows how they stand behind their products and make it right. I got this unit and set it up as per description in the manual. Since I have high humidity in my basement I opted for the permanent drain function, the integrated little bucket would fill up in no time. I can see where this option is very useful in less high humidity and where there’s so way to drain it. But for a Kentucky summer this size of drain bucket wouldn’t suffice.When you set up the drain function, you’ll need to pull the little grey plug from the drain port, then just push the included drain hose onto the port. The hose needs to hang down from the drain port in order to drain properly.I do like the large humidity display. A quick look as I walk past and I know where we’re at with the humidity. At first I did have a problem where the unit just wasn’t working very well, it barely made a difference in the humidity. I reached out to Kesnos directly and had answers the next morning. After analyzing the issue they ended up replacing the unit. So yes, I got a lemon at first but they made it right.

I bought a Kesnos 120 Pints most efficient energy star dehumidifier and install it in my basement. I was very happy with the moisture removal, easy of use and the value for money that a month later I bought a second unit 150 Pints.There was a problem with the second unit. I called the customer service and report it. They were very understanding and supportive and sent me a replacement and free return for the malfunctioning unit.I am very happy with their products and the way they answer customer's requests.I shared my experience with my fiends and relatives.I strongly recommend it.

This dehumidifier was significantly less expensive that a new one so I was worried about the condition of the unit. The only real difference was the box and packaging were not original but Amazon packaging was perfect. No parts missing the manual was in good shape, seemed like it had seen some water, but no real issue. The unit looked brand new. Plugged it in and is is now keeping our basement dry.
