Replaced as recommended by computer diagnostic. Took 10-15 minutes. Resolved issue where my 2004 Honda Element would fail at 3000rpm and not accelerate until back down to 2500rpm. After replacing part, immediately was able to rev engine above 3000 and beyond and could feel smooth operation and good timing.

Works and fits perfectly

I have a 2005 Accord that was giving trouble code P2647 (rocker arm actuator stuck on). I Installed this part and reset the warning light and cleared the code. I drove for two days without issue. On the third day, I started the car and got the same malfunction code. Really? There's no way I got a bad unit, right? Wrong! After much head-scratching, I bit the bullet and replaced it with one from a different manufacturer. Problem solved.After removing the defective unit, I ran a test on the solenoid with a regulated power supply. The open/close voltages were about 9.5 and 6.5 VDC, whereas the open/close voltages on the original and the second replacement units were 6.5/3.5 VDC. This would explain why I was still getting the malfunction code with this unit.Other observations: This item looks poorly made. The solenoid looks cheap, and the gasket didn't fit inside the casting correctly. The plug receptacles fit poorly (too tight). One plug wouldn't seat without forcing it.The fit and finish of the second unit was much better, and the gasket fit much better. The solenoid was obviously beefier. The receptacles fit like a glove.Pro tip: Take a look at the percentage of 1-star reviews for whichever unit you buy. Make sure to pick one with a lot of reviews and a low percentage of negative reviews.

may want to use another gasket than provided,the one provided is a cheapo and will leak.buy a good gasket

Fixed my annoying P1259 code. Driven about 500 miles after installation and the code hasn’t came back. Solenoid I received didn’t come with a gasket as pictured. Other than that it works great.

I wanted to wait before I gave a review. I bought this because I could get fast. I've now have driven 1000 miles with this. So far it's been fine no leaks and no codes. Great value if I need another one for my other car I will not hesitate to buy it again.

At first I wasn't confident if this part would work properly due to the big price difference from other after market assembly's. Installation was quick and simple and after a month (1,440Miles) of driving no DTC or the judder it would do at low to mid mph. It worked for me and quality looked good definitely recommend.
