Good knife
I got the knives sooner than I expected, and I'm happy with what I got. The knife spine is 1/8" thick, and the knife is a good weight. The knife comes from Whetstone Cutlery. The blade is made of stainless steel, and was quite sharp when I got it: I cut myself on accident. I don't know what everyone else is talking about when they're saying that the handle sucks. It's a pretty sturdy handle, made of smooth, dense rubber. There are bolsters on both ends of the handle, so your hand won't slide forward onto the blade or backwards off of the handle. The sheath is not all that bad, either. It's made out of a slightly stretchy synthetic material, rather than stiff nylon. The fabric has a "sleeve" of plastic, which is stiff and thick, making the sheath sturdy and rigid, and protecting the fabric from being cut. The main problem with this is that the plastic is folded and stitched to make the sleeve, and the part that is stitched is on the side the cutting edge is facing. Basically, when you pull the blade out, try to pull it straight out; avoid pulling it out so that the cutting edge slides against the stitching of the sheath. One other problem is the snap. It serves its purpose adequately, but the stitching holding it on the sheath looks a little weak. Also, the ends of the strip are a little frayed. That's alright, though, because the strip is made of nylon, and you can use a lighter to harden the end, like fusing a nylon rope. This knife is an overall good knife. It's a good size and weight, and it makes you feel lethal when you hold it. I haven't yet been rough with it - we don't live near a forest, and I've only had it a couple days -, but it is pretty sturdy. With proper care and occasional sharpening, this knife should serve you well.

Really nice knives
I ordered these as a pair. Got a great price, under $25 for the pair. Knives came pretty sharp. Really solid blades although I'm sure you can get better knives in a higher price bracket. Blades are 10.5 inches long. The only reason I gave these 4 rather than 5 stars is because I didn't like the handles. They are a very hard and almost slippery black polymer. I did a paracord wrap over the blades and went to Home Depot and got some clear(ish) teflon type tape and wound that over the paracord. The handles are now very comfortable and virtually non slip. I would definitely buy these again.

I thought someone with two wives would be happy Carl: No
Lenny: Jeez Homer, I thought someone with two wives would be happyCarl: No, you're thinking of someone with two KNIVESMoe: I gotta tell ya, this is pretty terrific. Yeah! That pretty much sums it up. Very basic, yet very cool knives. A small missed opportunity to have mirrored sheaths so that you could wear one on your right and left sides. Currently doing so would make one blade backwards. As for quality, the construction seems solid enough. I won't be doing any extensive tests though. The blade is fairly dull, though that is more of just a standard way to receive a new knife. The tip and serrated teeth are all nice and pointy. Lots of reviews call it "disposable" but I think "expendable" is the better term. It should in theory have the strength to last and hold up to abuse, but at the same time it's low price and plain nature means it wouldn't be a terrible loss if it breaks or gets lost. A good balance between usability and expendability.

Ok...could be better...
Loved the knives...however...the handles are brittle plastic...one had a broken handle. Purchased same set for cheaper from Walmart!

ok for the price
The blades on these knives are pretty dull but I can probably try to sharpen them up. The saw teeth however are crazy sharp. Like most cheap knives, the biggest quality issues are in the handles. The handles are really light and feel cheap. It should also go without saying that these are not full tang. Where the blade meets the handle there is a considerable gap where I could see water or moister getting into which would probably cause rust and result in the blade snapping off at the handle. All that being said, they are OK for the price. When I was a teenager I probably would have been psyched to have these. They do look pretty bad-ass and as a set of 2, my wife and I will look pretty cute with matching knives attached to our bug-out bags.Update: I ordered a couple survival knives from Harbor Freight tools that cost less than these ($9 each)but are of better quality. the blades are equally dull, the saw equally sharp, the the overall construction in the handle is more solid. the Handles are actually metal and the end cap unscrews for storage. Harbor Freight lists the manufacturer as "Gordon" but there are knives on Amazon using the same exact handle listed as "General Edge". The Jungle King Tanto Blade Survival Master Knife is one such knife that is the same exact handle but a slightly different blade mounted in it. The Harbor Freight price is much better though.

BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. Perioid.
I'm not sure what the negative reviewers expected out of these two Jungle Masters but I am certainly more than satisfied with my purchase. Ideal for Bug Out Bag, wilderness survival, zombie apocalypse, personal protection, home security, etc..The best thing about this purchase was when I finally realized that all of the bad reviews citing dull blades, loose handle etc are just down right bogus. This knife is a SERIOUS multi-purpose knife that can hold its own against all the top contenders and speak for itself against the haters out there. Trust me when I say this knife is well worth the purchase and looks even better in your hand.

Missing knife?
Good knife, but I thought it came with two. Everything I'm seeing on this product leads me to belive that it comes with two knives, mine did not. I'll be happy to change the rating when this issue is resolved.

Great for the money...
Feels sturdy, like the grips and the buster on the butt. Arrived with dull blades, but a bit of honing made 'em sharp as needed. Haven't put them through the grinder yet, but they feel like they can be a good hiking/survival knife. Oh, and the serrated side was sharp and I did test cutting a branch. Like butter.....
