The best ever
I am 70 years old and have been in construction since 1957, and was a hands on, custom home builder from 1972 to 2013. I have used all kinds of hand tools to pull nails with and this is the best one I ever used. I have the large one (this one) and the smaller one, since 1991.This bar has enough leverage to pull almost any nail, and can be carried in your nail bag. The way I use the tool is to use the flat end to slip under the nail head and raise the head a little and then use the angled end to remove the nail the rest of the way.The flat end is what makes this bar so good; it is just right to slip under the nail without damaging the wood so much. If the nail is overdriven, the other end is used to dig out the head, with ease.The metal is first rate and can take a pounding.This tool can make your day a lot more enjoyable, if you are a framer, carpenter or working with any kind of wood.
