Ordered three: one still works, one quit working, one never worked.
I ordered three of these for brewing beer.Let me preface this review and let you know I have never dropped them or mishandled them in any way...I sanitized them before each use and then after use, they were sanitized/cleaned again and put back in a drawer. Only the metal part was ever cleaned or touch water.I also want to state that I have NOT reached out to the seller for any warranty information...I just saw this in my inbox and wanted to fill it out for several orders.I have had these for a couple of months now and they worked great during that time. I actually only opened two and left the third in the package as a backup. Well, last week one of the two that were opened got stuck reading a random temperature and would not go up or down...I tried to replace the battery and nothing changed...still read 72º. Being that my first one was in use inside the house, no big deal, I opened the third package.The display read 111.1...so, needless to say I was disappointed it did not work right out of the box.Not sure what you will be using it for, as I really thought they would have lasted a lot longer than a couple months. I will be contacting the seller to see if there is a warranty period or if anything can be done.

The thermometer works great. I brought it to use making soap but tried it out first on a beef roast. I guess I will be ordering another for just my soap. I will be ordering again from the same company. The package was well wrapped and came fast. Thank you!
