FALLEN - An Unforgettable Romance
This is the fourth book I've read by Ms. Tentler and I think she's simply amazing. Her characters are well fleshed and life-like, the descriptions vivid, the plots unique, and the suspense and romance always top-notch and well balanced. I absolutely ADORED Ryan who has to be one of my favorite heroes ever! To be loved the way he loved Lydia, oh my gosh, it was just incredibly beautiful. Although their marriage may not have survived a terrible tragedy, it was apparent to me from the very beginning that their love had. My heart broke for them both, but especially for Ryan who's guilt and grief were palpable and literally made me cry. The love this couple felt for each other was just breathtaking and the suspense had me on edge. I'll tell you now I never saw the ending coming and was completely shocked by who was targeting and killing police officers and why. I honestly think my mouth was hanging open for a minute or so. The only thing that kept this from being perfect for me was Lydia. I really did like her but she made some poor decisions that I kind of held against her just because Ryan was so wonderful. Still, it was a thrilling and engaging read that had my emotions in utter turmoil. A truly lovely and memorable story that I won't soon forget!

The Devil in the Details Will Claim You
Oh gawd, another great romantic suspense by Leslie Tentler. I found myself telling my son he better be careful around midtown ATL. Yeah, it feels that real. The characters. Their professions. The crimes. The setting. The yearning for peace. The desperate yet never rewarding grasps for a normal life after tragedy--if the hero and heroine don't confront the past. Love it because though it is wrenching, it feels so real and full of promise that is just out of reach.Lydia is a sympathetically flawed character. She drinks and works too much to hide and make penance for her failings. Ryan is such a good guy that I think Lydia had a hard time accepting that he could make a mistake. This author has a spot on the top of my must-read list.

An Excellent Suspense Writer
Leslie Tentler is a excellent suspense writer! I found this not only well written, but captivating on many levels. I listened to the audiobook version of this and loved it. Narrator Marguerite Gavin does a superb job bringing the story and characters alive. I particularly enjoyed her use of accents. Can't wait for the next book!

Now THIS Is a Romantic Suspense--Both Elements Done Excellently
Oh my gosh how I loved this book.Fallen is set in Atlanta during a hot summer (Shout out to the Peachtree Roadrace!) when a serial killer is targeting cops. The hero, Ryan, is a cop. Lydia, his ex-wife, is an ER doctor who's getting to see more of him and his compadres than she would like. Both Ryan and Lydia clearly still have feelings for each other, but the death of their young son tore them apart and almost destroyed them both. This book has it all: romance, suspense, a mystery that caught me by surprise. Ryan and Lydia's story was so heartbreaking, I had to stop reading on the plane for fear people would think there was something wrong with me. But then I was so compelled to see them through that I had to finish it. That's why no one in La Casa Kilpatrick had pants for a few days. (Meh. Who needs laundry?!)As always, Tentler writes with the clean prose you want from a romantic suspense. Her characters show more depth than you usually get from this kind of story. The mystery was well played. All the little nods to Atlanta were a bonus. You can't beat the bargain of this book. I think it's my favorite of Tentler's books so far.

I just Loved this book
I just Loved this book. This is the first book I have read by Leslie Tentler and it won't be the last. It is set in Atlanta and the detectives are going down one by one. Not only that but there is a little romance going on while you are solving the mystery. Each time I put down the book I was looking forward to going back to it as it was so good and well written.

If You Like Romantic Mystery You Will love This Book!
Great book. Once I got into it I had problems putting it down. We were on a long trip and luckily my husband did most of the driving. When he tired and asked me to take over the wheel, I did but really wanted to finish the book instead. Great suspense and very well written. I have also read her trilogy and am definitely looking forward to reading more books written by this author.

Me
J: This was a great story. There was plenty of suspense, I loved the characters and their relationship seemed believable. There was action and although I figured it out, it was not predictable. I wish this was a series, I want more.
