Darkglass Harmonic Booster Clean Bass Preamp Pedal

I’ve had better preamps and EQ, but the Harmonic Booster is really top level and you get a good bang for your buck with the tone shaping this is capable. If you’re looking to enhance your mids and send your drive to a better place, this works well.

I thought my bass sounded fine before but was wanting a preamp to start my pedal chain. This pedal really dialed my tone in and makes it sound awesome. Won’t play without it anymore.

I'm a Precision bass guy who likes a little bit of warm tube growl in the low mids. Adding this to the signal chain brought back P-bass overtones I didn't realize went missing. It adds gravitas - a studio polish that you can blend in to your own taste. Worth every penny.

A great preamp pedal for a great range of clean tones,. It can drive extra crunch and grit out of an overdrive, fuzz or distortion pedal placed in line after the Harmonic Booster.

The pedal arrived with the seal broken. The pedal had fingerprints all over it. Clearly it was a return. The pedal sounds great, I’m just disappointed that I paid a new price and didn’t get a new pedal.

The circuitry brings out ALL of the sound and then you can dial in where you want the boost and one can cut where desired. This will be the best sound your axe can sound. I really can't believe the lush, full tones that you can hear but didn't have without the device. Not battery option, like all the new pedals, no 9volt battery power(AC, plug into the wall power supply only.).Did I mention that you really will be blown away by this pedal. Thank you for reading.

Low noise, great sound ... I do prefer the voicing on the lower side, not too much, but that's purely subjective to ones listening and ear.. Excellent build quality, and good email tech support.
