I do like this product and and it does work. However, it takes good grip strength, exact positioning and ankle movement to completely remove compression socks. Persistence and practice has made it easier. The tool has to be placed along the heel of the foot, not to either side. Checking about half-way to be sure the tool is still between the sock and skin will speed up the process and decrease frustration. The ability to straighten the ankle (pushing foot toward the floor) will also help the sock to slide over the heel. I have not seen anything else out there that is as good as this assistive device for removing compression socks. Price is reasonable

Second one I have had and seems more sturdy than the first, which broke at the neck after a couple of years. I hope it does not happen again.

Dad has arthritis in his fingers and wears compression stockings. This did not work at all for him.

Good for taking socks off not really good for putting socks on

Not stiff enough for compression socks that are hard to get off. Easy-off bends and would break.

actually, this device is superbly designed, engineered and constructed. The offending plastic referenced is easily ignored or filed down with a nail file! To paraphrase Apple marketing, "it simply works".

The devise did not put on the stockings. Nothing about this worked'
