1) First, as others wrote, THEY'RE NOT 4OZ JARS! Maybe 2oz? To prove it, they're different dimensions from what's stated in the description; the page says: "Each jar is 2.4" wide x 2.6" tall," but they're really 2.0" wide and 2.87" tall. (I included a pic to show the wrong-size jar next to a 4oz jar I already had.) So: Unusable for my project.2) Before buying,I actually WROTE the company to ask (see pic) if there's writing on the jars' bottoms—they'll show in the project I'm doing, so they have to be plain—and they wrote me back and said no. Of course, I just got them, and THERE'S A RAISED NUMBER ON THE BOTTOM! So: Unusable for my project.3) Finally, the lids aren't big enough for the jars, they barely even screw on—who sells junk like this? So: Unusable, blah blah blah...In short, not a good bet.Update: The company has written me and offered to send me the correct-size jars; it remains to be seen if the bottoms have writing or not. Btw, the company's labels themselves are wrong (says 4oz on box of 2oz bottles), so I predict the confusion will continue, will post when I know more.Update #2: Soooo.... the company very nicely offered to send me the 4oz jars I originally wanted, and the package came in just two days; unfortunately, it was another box of the same 2oz jars! They were also labeled as 4oz jars, so I'd say that until the labeling problem is solved, expect tiny little jars (with lids that don't quite fit). Prompt & considerate customer service, tho, so I added one star. Kinda sad!

I purchased these jars to make a magnetic spice rack. I'm a little disappointed due to the fact that these jars do not hold 4oz and the labels they give you are way too big. Due to the reasonable price I decided to keep them . I now have ordered their 6oz jars and hope they are true to size . I would have contacted the company but lost there information. I also trimmed the rectangle labels so they would fit. Contacted Nellam and they are issuing a refund . A+ on customer service.

I received my jars yesterday and I am happy to report that they are very beautifuland shock resistant since one of them dropped from my hands to the kitchen sinkwith the possibility of breaking and nothing happened to it.Jars are cute for small storage all around the house...or for cute gifts...for salsas andto share with friends and neighbors.For canning I would select a larger size/s or different type. Quality seems to be thereand I just hope that we can come up with more uses so that we do not have to have somuch plasticware around...too messy and not as fresh looking as glass. Thanks for yourattention.

Nice quality jars. I would give them 5 stars, except for the way they were packed. The box they come in is rather flimsy and it was sent inside a bubble mailer, which was insufficient protection. The end of the box was crushed & open, so when I opened the bubble mailer, several jars fell out. Fortunately, I happened to be standing in front of the sofa at the time and they fell on it, so nothing was broken. My experience turned out okay, but I can see where it could easily go awry for someone else. I think these really should be mailed inside another box. Otherwise, a good purchase and I am satisfied with them.

These are NOT 4 oz jars, they are 2 oz. The box is labeled as 4 oz but I tested them and they only hold 2 oz of water. Dented and dinged lids too, but not too bad. They're still usable so I'm giving them 2 stars.
