Great Buckwheat Noodles
Great product! When I was looking for buckwheat noodles to purchase, I found myself disappointed by how many do not disclose buckwheat content compared to wheat content. So I was excited to find this product which promises 100% buckwheat. The noodles cook in a timely manner and it is easy to achieve a wonderful noodle texture even when no wheat flour is used at all. They are a little expensive is the only downside.

Good quality product, worked good in my recipe
These noodles were a nice consistency when cooked, slightly chewy, not mushy. I would buy again. Product arrived quickly too

Rating due to cost
As buckwheat noodles go, these are fine. I will spend money on quality food, but for me $10 for one package of noodles is too much. If it weren't for the cost I would buy these on a regular basis, as it is I would see them as an occasional indulgence.

This buckwheat soba noodle made us sick.
Something was not right with these noodles... It had a sea/seafood like smell to it while cooking. The smell was mostly gone after cooking it. I took 2 bites and it started to give me an allergic reaction sensation in my mouth (and I'm NOT allergic to buckwheat, that is why I ordered this "100% buckwheat" noodle), so I stopped eating it rightaway. My husband ate his portion and he got sick by the next day with high fever! I don't know what these noodles were made of, but I'm quite certain that they were either not 100% buckwheat, or they were contaminated with something. In addition, I've just spent $20 on two packs of noodles, and I can't even return the remaining pack (I bought 2 packs.) and get a refund on the unopened one! Not happy!
