So easy to use
These ramps are lifesavers for getting a manual wheelchair into and out of our van. Our son’s new chair was too bulky and heavy to lift without a struggle even when folded down. With these handy ramps, the process is quicker and safer for our backs and the chair. The ramps are easily adjustable and can be locked to the length you need. Sliding back to their shortest length, they fit easily into the back of the van and take up much less room than a larger one-piece, wide ramp. Also, the two-piece, narrow track design allows us to move between the two ramps as we move the chair up and down into and out of the van. So much easier than a single piece ramp where you’d have to stand off to the side to use it. Finally, the handles make moving the ramps a breeze. Highly recommend!

Great for ambulatory user loading heavy powerchair solo
This review is specifically for folks who need these to get their chair into a vehicle. So my issue is my heart, and I have a very heavy (450lb) powerchair. I got one of those folding ramps and it was like 50lbs, I couldn't even assemble it without complications, let alone shove the chair up it into the cargo bed of my SUV, so I had to return it.These are perfect. Like 14lbs each, easily set up. And you can walk between them to push the chair up, instead of loading from the side, so you can put your whole weight behind pushing, making it much easier. For folks who aren't strong, or if you have bad days where you can't exert yourself like me, you can get a little hand winch or electric winch attached to the seatbacks to pull it up the ramps for you.Getting a manual chair up these would be a breeze.

Really awesome for getting wheelchair in and out of back of our Volkswagen Golf
We ordered these (first time using ramps like this) to put in the back of our Volkswagen Golf so I can push my travel power chair up and down the ramp into the trunk. They have worked GREAT so far. No complaints at all. We weren’t 100% sure if the length would be too long or too short from the ground to the trunk, but the length is perfect! The adjustability makes it really convenient too. Most normal parking lots of plenty of space for me to get my chair up and down the ramps. They are not too heavy for what they are (but very sturdy). I usually slide them in and out of the back so I don’t have to fully lift them. But they can be lifted and carried- they have handles on each ramp. Definitely slip resistant with good tread, and I am feeling mobile again with the option to bring my chair places by myself. Highly recommend.

Works to Transport My Powerchair
We purchased this set of ramps so we could transport my Powerchair from place to place. I was a little worried because a few reviews said that the middle ledge was too high and their powerchair couldn't clear it- thankfully that wasn't the case with mine, and the chair just barely clears the ledges. We ordered the ramps that extend to 7 feet, and I'm glad we did. We almost ordered shorter ones but we definitely need the 7 foot ones to be able to get the powerchair into our van.The ramps are pretty easy to use, they only take a few minutes to set up each time.It seems a little odd that each ramp only has one pin-hole to secure the ramp to the van. It seems to me that two holes on each ramp would hold them in place more securely and help keep them from wobbling from side to side.Overall, though, I am really happy with this purchase as it has enabled me to get out of the house with my powerchair!

These work well!
These work very well. They are relatively light weight and easy to move and set up. We use them to get the wheelchair up the one step into the house from the garage. Then move it to get up another step from one room to another. The only time that didn't work well was to try to get the wheelchair from the garage garage floor onto a platform to get me into the van. I had to get out of the chair and hop on one foot to get onto the platform then into the van. Other than that, the rails worked well for a short term post surgery solution.

Great value.
These work fine for us. Make sure you get them long enough, I almost bought the 6 ft. and I am very glad I went with the 8 ft.

easy lift & set up 1 handed almost,
Ordered 8' ramps for house with no wheel chair access & special occasions at family houses. 2 minutes: Carried box from trunk, open box, set up & over 2 brick stairs -had chair up & in house! Had doubters and was proving a point a 110LB 60+ woman could use these. Easier now as carrying & stowing is 2 separate 4' ramps. Have ordered second set to stay in town for other family use at various times.

Does not work with my QX80 SUV and power wheelchair
The power wheelchair does not clear the rails. Chair ground clearance is 2.5” but angle when loading prevents it clearing. If the incline is as high as my SUV, most scooters and power chairs will not work. The weight and method these ramps possess attracted me to purchase, regrettably had to return.
