The Rumford Gardener Expanding Garden Hose, 75-Feet, Passion Purple

I thought these hoses might last a bit longer, and was very encouraged by the construction and materials. While the 75 foot hose is still working wonderfully, the 50 foot hose lasted less than a month before popping open. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these hoses. They are so much easier to work with than a standard hose. However I will be buying the cheap ones in the future, as more money does not necessarily mean better quality or longer lasting.

The rumford .Its good but it need water pressure. So I had to install a water pump. The only thing im not happy about is the handling charges which costed me. The price of the rumford expedable is good its litell bit cheaper by $10 than home but with your handling I had to pay double that price. Thank you for your understanding

I have had bad experiences with collapsible hoses, even with the "rugged" ones, then last a few months. I just hooked up this one. We shall see, but I love the concept. My HOA does not allow hoses or hose housings to be visible, so instead of hauling out a heave hose every time I need one, I just take my hidden collapsible out of the empty flower pot and hook it up. No fuss, no muss.

Because I live in High Desert, I have to hide it when not using to avoid the high heat. Also, i suspect that since I have cement paths around my plots, that may be another danger? I do love them and have bought at least 7, not all yours, but get discouraged with the short life.,

I really needed a lightweight hose, but questioned the quality of the expandable hose. But, decided to go for it. I plugged it in on my lower patio and pulled it up the steps to my upper deck. Hosed all the pine pollen off of the walls, decking, furniture , tables, windows, ceiling fans and doors. Then, back downstairs with it to do the lower patio. I am thrilled. As an older, small woman I could never do this with my old heavy hose. I say, spend a little more for this brand and you'll like it. Oh, btw, it emptied out readily and fits back into the storage bag it came in.

If you’re looking for something to last ... DON'T buy this one,I read the reviews and they were mixed... so I did know what I was getting into but I thought maybe I would be one of them that the hose would work and I would really like it.... Boy was I wrong... I bought two and the 1st one lasted less than a week. The hose inside broke in half. I haven't tried the 2nd on yet just two disgusted on the 1st... What a waste of good hard earn money....The hose was easy to use, the pressure is about 1/2 of a regular hose so that was a little disappointing but you get use to the small stream rather quickly… good luck if you decide to buy this hose

I like this hose. Its compact form is great. But I spend time to not drag the hose over hard surfases such as my concrete driveway or sidewalk. I expect the fabric cover would soon deteriorate from abrasion. And I take extra care to store the hose in my garage and out of UV harm.

I bought 2 of them for use in washing vehicles. One hose broke the first time I used it, but I was able to repair it. The other broke within 2 weeks and I was unable to repair it. The water pressure is normal city water pressure, but it appears that is too much for the rubber inside the sleeve.
