Our 125# Anatolian Shep/Great Pyrenees mix is apparently allergic to grass/pollen...not a great feature for a mix that traditionally lives outside watching flocks. We have tried a lot of shampoos to keep her fur and skin clean without causing additional irritation and the Lillian Ruff Professional Dog Shampoo with Aloe does the trick. Purchased the large container because otherwise we'd be buying dog shampoo twice a month (there's a lot of surface area on a dog that is as big as a male Great Dane...). Along with her preventative Cetirizine/Benadryl and 2% Chlorhexidine for hotspots we have FINALLY have a successful care plan in place that won't require steroid treatments. This is really great dog shampoo for sensitive allergy-prone dogs!

So I am reviewing this before I have used it. This is because I have received no less then 3 emails to review. To make these go away, I am writing a review about a product that I have never used. Would have loved to review it with a higher rating but I have no idea what it is going to be like.

The one thing I hate about trying a new shampoo for dogs is it not having enough lather. I have large dogs and some shampoos do not last through 1 bathing day. This stuff is the best I have found. Not only is the scent wonderful, but a little goes a long way! The lather is thick and rinses easily. I love that it is formulated for both dogs and puppies, so I know it is gentle on their skin.

When receiving the 1 gallon jug with pump upon opening, the shampoo had leaked all over inside the box. After further inspection the plastic bag was intact with no cut, but it did leak out of top of bag from being thrown around by carrier. The jug had a knife size hole cut in it. After squeezing it out of bag and what was left in container back it a different container it was less than a gallon. I sent a message via email to manufacturer but have not got a response.Update: got a response so I changed to 4 star.😁

Great products! I generally don’t even use animal specific shampoos and conditioners so even buying these plus ordering them without even smelling them first or knowing anyone personally who has purchased this product was going out on a limb. I highly recommend the shampoo and the conditioner. That bottle of shampoo will last me a very long time. Smells great, conditions well and zero skin reactions for my sensitive skin dogs.

This is my second time purchasing this and I love it! This shampoo makes my dogs smell good and makes their coat soft and manageable. I love that this is concentrated because that means I get more uses out of it than those that are not. I just use an empty water bottle to help dilute it down to the correct ratio.

This shampoo is really luxurious. It lathers quickly and rinses quickly as well. I bathe 2 very furry Australian shepherds and the quick rinse alone makes this worth it to me. The scent is not overwhelming so it doesn’t bother my fur kids, making us both happy.

Great dog shampoo that works on the full thick coat of my Standard Poodle and our full coated Papillon. Lathers well and rises out quickly
