Review of the things others haven't mentioned
So, I've used this device for almost a month now, and I'm loving it. The battery (10+ hrs), weight (you forget it's in your bag), ports (everything you need) - all of these points have been covered in detail by other reviews. So I'll skip those. Now1. I compared the material of the Gram with an Asus 35k laptop and a Macbook Pro. The Asus is really plasticky and cheap to the feel, while the Macbook is made out of aluminium. The Gram feels right in the middle in terms of the material used to make it. It feels much less plasticky than others have mentioned. It's not as cold to the touch as Aluminium would but also not plastic. I really like the feel as others have around me.2. The 14 inch size is underrated. I could use it in all sorts of weird lying positions, and it perfectly fit the tray on an Indigo Economy seat - a 15 inch wouldn't have. Plus because of the tiny bezels, the laptop is *smaller* than the Macbook Air 13.3 from 2018 - I bought an Amazon Basics sleeve meant for 13.3 laptops and it fits the Gram well with some space around it too. I always wanted a 14 inch device and if you're looking for that too, there's literally no other device that comes close to this. The Dell 5490 is a far away 2nd.3. The screen - the brightness is pretty disappointing, my 35k Asus got much brighter. Add to it that it's a reflective glossy screen and while you could use it outdoors, it's still a pain. One of the reasons why this is a 4 star review. However, the screen otherwise is beautiful. It's sharp, the colours are amazing - I can't stress it enough how good the colours are. Movies look amazing on it. Viewing angles are excellent - no colour or brightness shift. It's a lovely display to use indoors.4. Another reason for the 4 star review - I know this laptop is not for gaming, however I searched for games designed to be played with just an Integrated Gpu and downloaded a couple. I played this indie game called 'Untitled Goose Game'. Beautiful game, ran on the highest setting on the laptop, the screen was amazing to play on and it was a breeze. However the Laptop heated badly. The GPU was running on almost 100% for parts of the game and the single fan meant that you couldn't use it on your lap - and battery drained pretty quickly. I've tried other games, Fifa 17, Stanley Parable, West of Loathing and I haven't been able to recreate that in any game - very little heating and work very well. So it could be a problem of that particular game. But really, don't buy this for gaming. (However if you do, add an extra 8gb ram, the same model that it already has for dual channel. Integrated GPUs use the Ram from these and it would really improve performance)5. We're given 3 year warranty, but I actually couldn't find an LG service center in Delhi that would service this device. I talked on their customer care and they said they could arrange on site repair and service under warranty. However, people should be wary that they might have to work pretty hard for repair/service in case something goes wrong, especially in smaller cities.Summary - It's an amazing device and really nothing comes close to it at this price point in India. Non Gaming performance is absolutely excellent, the SSD and Ram are both upgradable, the nice guys at LG gave us all ports and still added an ethernet adapter, the screen is beautiful. You won't find better battery on a laptop in India - even putting aside that you won't find a lighter laptop in India. It's the best laptop (Price<1 Lakh) you could buy in India. Just remember that it's not flawless.P.S The Speaker is terrible.

Not a masterpiece but definitely worth more attention
Got this laptop for a slashed price of 65k excluding the 8k yonoSBI cashback I am yet to receive. I had narrowed my search to surface Pro 6 and lg gram and chose gram for its cost benefit ratio. These are my views on gram after one month of usagePROS1.Unbelievably light-no explanation needed2.The display is the best fullHD among the laptops I have seen. As it is glossy display and not matt, it's more vivid but aggravates glare3.Battery life- is awesome. Though not near the claimed 24 hour battery life, the 12-13 hour battery backup with moderate usage is the best yet4.The 3 year warranty-Who doesn't want that? Though I can't comment yet on the aftersales service5.Dedicated expansion slots-You need not remove an existing component to upgrade it. Cool!!!6.Ports-The present day is a transition time between USB type A to USB type C. Any laptop should have both the ports rather than choosing just one of them. LG does that. And the thunderbolt 3 is definitely the added advantage.7. Finger print access-It takes 8 seconds to show my desktop after I press the power button to wake the laptopCONS1.Plain-The laptop is not a Headturner. It's plain looking2.The charger- Seriously??? You gave us the thunderbolt yet not a type c charger? Why is that?? Also,It takes 2.5 to 3 hrs for a full charge.3.Scratch prone- Though the material is durable enough to survive the rough use and falls and all, it is scratch prone. So if you hate scratches on your lappy, either handle it carefully or laminate it4.No touch screen and 360 degree rotation-When the American counterparts of LG gram have that feature why is it dropped in Indian version?5.Speakers-If we need to highlight only one flaw about LG gram, it is the speaker system. As they are positioned below the base they are not loud enough. Also, audio isn't crisp enough. On the contrast, it's performance with headphones is exceptional thanks to dtsx softwareVerdict. If you need a non-gaming laptop and affordability and portability are your priorities go for this. You won't be disappointed

Extremely light but vulnerable, average battery
Yes as it’s name it’s extremely light so really easy to carry but it also makes it quite vulnerable to accidents as body is not strong, can be bit scratchy so keep some kind of lite cover or lamination. It’s Processor is pretty decent, booting is quick, multitasking is good, haven’t played intense/ fast games but HD graphics are good too.Speaker volume is quite low, barely audible. What really sucks is it’s battery backup. (If i compare with Mac book air.)Overall not too bad for professional laptop (for work) but if you are looking at multipurpose Laptop this is probably not the best.. I bought it as it’s the lightest and overall good work laptop in this range.Separately I feel LG is an really good but a bit underrated. As I travel a lot I find my MacBook Air bit too heavy to carry so I like this laptop as it fits my needs.Good luck !
