Killer Knife for Twice the Price
I just received the knife and the workmanship is excellent. Beautiful damascus pattern, nice straight blade, no signs of any cracks/inclusions etc. The file and grind work are both excellent. The knife came shaving sharp. As long as the blade hardness is good, this is an awesome knife. Sheath is ok/stiff, it needs a good oiling. It fits snugly to your side and doesn't flop around as you move/walk.I ordered this one to give as a gift. I'll definitely be ordering another for myself.

Great product, well made and finished. SHARP!
Handsome, clean, simple knife, The Damascus steel is beautifully patterned and the simple wood handle is beautifully finished. The file work on the back of the blade is very nicely done and adds an extra touch of class to the overall look. Out of the box this is the sharpest Damascus steel knife I have ever bought. I have about 15-20 hunters and folders so it takes quite a bit to impress me, this does. It is ready to display or take to the field out of the box. The price wasn't too bad either.

Not handmade
In the product description this item shows as hand made. It is not.Regardless, it is a beautiful knife. Perfect hunting knife. Full tang, and the tang is smooth against the handle. I purchased this as a gift, the receiver loves it. I was very pleased when I saw it as well! The scroll work on the tang is beautiful, it's prettier in person than it is in the pictures.

Sharp out of the box
This is going to serve as a utility knife and it looks like it will serve that purpose well. The Damascus pattern on the blade is handsome. I can't tell if it is real Damascus or is acid etching. At the price point, I assume it is etching, but nevertheless l only want this as a utility blade and it it immaterial to me if it is genuine Damascus steel or not. If you want a display piece and not a working piece, it is handsome. The wood is attractive and the sheath appears to be of significant thickness to be durable. The belt loop is a little stiff but some leather treatment will solve that little problem. I would rather have it stiff and have to work with it to loosen it to my satisfaction than have it floppy and loose because then I can't do anything about it without major inconvenience.Overall, I am quite satisfied with the product and the price point is really quite reasonable considering the appearance of the item. I haven't done any wood chopping with it or tried cutting metal with it so can't comment on the durability of the edge but so far it has cut satisfactorily on the items I have cut with it.

Skinner splittail! It required a headline to submit the review ...
Bottom line. You can’t ask for a better knife for the money. It’s also beautiful. I took my dremel to the left front grip for my thumb. Just tapered it in a little.

What an awesome knife! Not too big or too small
What an awesome knife! Not too big or too small. It came sharp and in great condition. The leather sheath fits snug on my belt, and although there is no strap for the blade it shockingly stays very secured inside.
