CLIO Kill Lash Superproof Mascara (02 VOLUME CURLING BLACK)

I have used both the Volume Curling and the Extreme Volume for over a year now, and nothing, I mean NOTHING beats the smudge proof on these babies. I have cried, sweated my butt off, and worked a 16 hr hospital shift in these puppies! No smudge. Not one! Highly recommend them for people looking for longwear, but don't mind not having the fluffiest or longest lashes in town.Between the two types, I personally prefer the curling, as I find the thinner brush easier to work with, but they both perform well for their intended lash style. Neither is the most extreme volume or length I've seen, but both formulas are in among the top mascaras in my book. Add in the smuge-free factor, and Clio Kill Lash takes my top spot as an everyday, extremely wearable mascara.However, there are two minor caveats with these mascaras:First, they take time to dry, and will smudge in the first few minutes of application. So, let them dry down before sprays or whatever.Second, they're difficult to remove. Makes sense given their incredible staying power, but I've found many removers and wipes barely make a dent in them. You need a powerful oil and water hybrid base remover if you want them gone*. (My fav: Skinfood Milkshake remover)*I do see that Clio makes a remover for them, but I have yet to try.

This is actually the best mascara I have ever used. It looks natural while keeping a curl all day long. Taking it off can be difficult but comes off great with a cleansing balm.

I too have short straight SA eyes, and I've tried SOOO many brands . I'm embarrassed to say how long it took me before I realized I should have checked to see what other Asian people used! This was one of three brands, none are sold in a store in my area, so I had to buy online and cross my fingers. Already, I know these are significantly better than what I've tried before (drugstore, fancy = nothing). They do lengthen, they do hold the curl better than I've had before, and they don't smudge/move. I've had to try different eye removers, other reviewers aren't joking about staying on, but I think I'm happy with the Clinique Take The Day Off for lids and lashes (NOT the balm, that'll get INTO the eyes *shudder*). I also got a better metal eyelash comb for precision fussing, but it doesn't take much since it's not coating my lashes all heavily; it's a nice, natural looking mascara.So, two things that are important to note:1) there IS product in the tube, but maybe it's an issue of warming/loosening up to make it flow or something?2) be careful about applying too much!!! It'll feel heavy and keep catching on each other in the outer corners.

The “long and curl” mascara is excellent. It makes my lashes super long and holds a curl well. I do a double curl, apply two layers of mascara, and they. Don’t. Budge. Even overnight.The only “con” is that I didn’t realize the color is more black-brown than true black, but that’s not a dealbreaker for me.

It has very clumpy application. dries super quickly and makes lashes stiff, so it’s hard to fix it.Positive is that it didn’t irritate my eyes while wearing. Some mascara has a chemical smell that makes my eyes burn.

I’ve tried many waterproof mascaras from big brands, but this one works the best. It’s truly waterproof—even when I sweat, it doesn’t smudge or melt. The only downside is that you need to use an oil-based remover to take it off.
