It works. The mini female is properly sized and the male slides in easily. The micro male works fine too. The right angle is useful if you want the phone standing while charging: the weight is borne by a right angled piece of plastic rather than by a bend in the cable.

Working well, had to sand down the casing.
Functional adapter, great with the 90˚ turn for a dashcam cable that needed to be converted. I did have to take down some of the casing, as it is too thick for some applications.

I'm using this to charge my newer devices with an older charger with the mini usb connector. its a bit of a space saver/declutterer because i only have one wire laying across my desk that serves both my old stuff and new stuff

This adapter does the job. It charges my Samsung S5. I like that I can use my old charger from another device.

Works as advertised but a little bulky
Kind of bulky but nothing a little dremel job couldn't fix.

If wire is routed through passenger side of car, DO NOT get this.
My Nikon s7000 digital camera recognizes the adapter but not my Motorola Moto G smart phone. Also for those who've routed a wire through the passenger side/glove compartment up into the rear view mirror, this is a no go, since if you place the phone vertically, you'll need the wire to be longer, and it could obstruct your vision while driving.
