LOP Lotion Super Lice Treatment, Pesticide Free, 8 oz, Effective, Nice & Mellow Scent, Easy to use and Gentle on Kids

7 days ago, I was styling my daughter’s hair for school and I found a louse on the comb. I immediately freaked out, called in sick for work and began to wash everything we owned. We went to 5 different stores looking for the typical over the counter treatment and everyone was sold out. We finally found a box of NIX (presumably the last box in San Diego County) and rushed home to treat our hair….yes, my daughter shared her gift of lice with me. After following the directions for treatment and then combing through my daughters hair with the lice comb, I was finding that the bugs were still alive. I combed her hair for nearly two hours to make sure that I got everyone of those nasty little buggers and their pesky nits too. Yesterday morning my daughter was scratching her head again and the narcotic person I am, did a thorough search to find she had still had lice! ---UGHH--- Since the traditional over the counter treatments were so scarce in our local stores, I was frantic on finding a different and better working solution. I began my search on Amazon; much to my delight I came across LOP Lotion Lice Treatment with same day shipping. {{{ score! }}} As soon as it arrived at our house yesterday evening, I followed the directions precisely and when I combed out my daughters hair, found not only had LOP killed the lice but it also aided in removing the nits!!!Recently in the news, there have been reports of “SUPER LICE” that are resistant to conventional over the counter treatments; I am not sure if that is what we have in our county or if NIX is just very expensive crap but I am not hesitating on purchasing another bottle of LOP to have on hand in the event there are future outbreaks.Besides….its natural and non-toxic; don’t we all need more of that in our lives.

I purchased this for my 16 month old and was excited about it. The product is a thick white lotion look, smells good too! Unfortunately it did not eliminate her lice completely! I do want to mention that she is a 16 month old and product needs to stay on for a few minutes, we couldn't achieve that. But it did kill some lice! So it may work on an older child who can patiently wait.

This stuff really works! We tried so many different stuff to get rid of my daughters lice and it seemed to be hopeless! My daughters school nurse said it was the best she had ever seen! after just one treatment they where GONE! Very easy to comb threw the hair with this product! Easy to apply and didn't burn my daughters scalp! I DEFINATELY recommend this to parents struggling to get rid of those nasty boogers!

I bought this product based on its good reviews, but I did not have the same experience, IN ANY WAY. My three young daughters unfortunately brought the horrible little critters home from their school, and I was desperate to find something that works. I have found that the drugstore products haven't helped much, and I was looking for something a bit more natural to try to make this all go away. The LOP is apparently so natural that it had NO effect at all. I applied it (following the directions exactly) and wanted to cry when I found another adult bug happily crawling around a few hours later. I would never recommend or purchase again. *On a funny note, I just noticed that after I first left this review, there were a ton of new glowing 5 star reviews left. And not by Amazon verified purchasers. Hmmm... that's interesting.

The smell is great, that is true. I’m a bit skeptical of the reviews since none of them are expressing how hard it is to saturate the hair with the lotion consistency. I absolutely can’t “untangle” let alone run a lice comb through my daughters hair with this product in it. I think the idea of this product is great but it’s not going to work if I can’t even comb out nits. Also, it took like the whole bottle to cover her head in the lotion, so maybe 1 1/2 treatments at best. I’ll stick to spending the money for Vamousse.

Very good shampoo, it smell nice and the best part is not toxic like the others. It helped my kids get rid of ugly lices!!! fully recommended!
