Lovely bed! But wider than advertised
The window bed looks great and seems to be high quality. I really like the color of the mesh cover and the fur cover is super soft. They must have started including instructions because I got some with mine. They were very clear and it was easy to put together. No tools necessary, except for maybe some pliers to hold the carabiner open when you're attaching them to the suction cups. I was very excited about this bed and know my cat would love it...BUT, the measurements listed in the product description are wrong and the bed is too wide for the window I bought it for. The description says "The minimum window size needed for this perch is W 24x H 26 inches." Ignore that. Those are the dimensions of the area inside of the PVC frame (which I don't know why you would want/need).The bed frame is actually 26" wide and 14" deep (measuring from outer edges of the frame). With the measuring cups, the total width is 28.25". So to install this window you actually need a window that is at least 28 1/4 inches wide... not 24". (Also, just in case this is useful to someone, the total depth of the bed is 15.5 inches when including the suction cups and the pvc that sticks out from the frame to the window.)That said, I might keep it anyway and put it in a different room with wider windows - because it really is a top-notch & very lovely bed. Just make sure your windows are at least 28.25 in!

Product was misrepresented a bit, and it's disappointing.
I'm so disappointed in many things about this product. When I looked it up, it showed that the clip used to hold the suction cub and the metal rope together was a carabiner type clip. Instead they sent those really cheap clips that are physically painful to even get open, and they don't even fit with the suction cup loop. I'm disabled and have trouble with my hands, and it would have been nice to know that there was a deviation from what was promoted. I had to use scissors just to hold these cheap metal clips open long enough to get the huge loop through it. It was very difficult. Then after all that difficulty, the suction cups wouldn't work where I was hanging it. I'm just dumbfounded. My friends and I are going to try and make something to support the bed for Angel.I understand that sometimes you have to cut costs, but I would've paid a couple extra dollars to prevent the cuts and bruising on my fingers and hands, and the disappointment of it just sitting on the table because it won't work yet.

Still like but product photos need to be updated with changes
This is an excellent quality cat bed. I love that it comes with a detachable pet bed. And the material used for the cover seems high quality and has a very durable Velcro closure. Some of the cheaper window beds I’ve seen have had cheap Velcro that gives out with the weight of a cat in it. It holds my 20 lbs cat no problem. I set it up kind of high and my cats can jump up into it and it holds very solid. I also love the color.***update - I recently ordered another one of these cat beds after they were back in stock...there have been some changes in the new version. I ordered the sage color both times. The sage cover now has Velcro on both sides of the bottom. I can see how that would be helpful if you needed to remove the cover. I did remove a star because I think the new bed cover is cheaper in quality and I don’t like the color. The old version seemed to have more padding and was more of a cream white whereas the new version is very thin and more of a almond color. Overall I still like the window bed but I feel like I should get the same product when I reorder and the product photos should be updated to reflect these changes. Also as another reviewer stated the width dimensions do not include the suction cups so make sure to account for that when measuring for your window.

Great pearch: Easy to clean & Will hold up well.
I selected this pearch even though it was a bit more expensive than others and was not disappointed. It is sturdy if set up properly and is very easy to clean for anyone in a shelter or similar situation. The suction cups did not adhere well initially, but that's because I was being lazy and didn't clean them or the window first. My only complaint is that the hooks were too stiff to open enough to attach the suction cups. Either plan to use a plyers, or do like I did and use two small carabiniers rated for at least #50. I don't know how long the plush pad will hold up to washing, but the construction of the perch itself was worth it, so I'm not worried about replacing the plush part with another cushion in a year or so if needed.

Easy to assemble, holds tight to the window, cat loves it
This is not the first one of these I've owned. That's why I bought it. The earlier models did not have this nice pad that goes on top, so that makes it even better. It's easy to put together, just follow the directions. Make sure your window is super clean. Use rubbing alcohol on the spots where the suction cups will go. Attach the two bottom suction cups FIRST to attach the perch. Then raise the upper wires, pulling them upward, making sure to keep the perch level, and attach the cups at the correct place above the perch. Push hard on the suction cups. A little water or saliva helps! The only drawback, and this is not the manufacturer's fault, you can't open the window with the window bed on it. So choose a window that you don't need to open. My cat Charlotte loves her window perch and sleeps on it daily. I would definitely buy one of these again in the future!

Bella loves it, so I love it!
When we moved into a new house my cat was upset that our window sills were very narrow and she couldn’t sit on them and look outside. This is an excellent fix for that problem! She spends a lot of her days looking out the window at the birds. It seems study enough for a 12 pound cat.

Holds 2 chubby cats
I bought this to try to keep our cat from covering our couch in fur when she wants to look out the window. Well I was too excited about it and forgot to measure my window. The oerch was too wide for my window 😞 but I have a friend whose 2 cats always fall out of her with Dow so I sold it to her and she has had zero complaints! Both cats (not skinny cats either) fit and it has held firm on their window. They did have to take it down for a little bit though because the cats scratched their new drywall jumping up to it. So I guess it works great just make sure your window is big enough and the cat doesn't have to jump too far to get into it.
