They work very well there’s small enough to carry

Ok- The magnifier by itself is fine for general purposes. However, the Led function is what I wanted. Out of the packaging I turned the light switch on. Unfortunately, the light was flickering a bit so I inserted the " battery cover tool" to open it. Well after nearly breaking the tool the cover budged and I finally got it open. The reason for the problem is the screw top was never finished properly. The grooves had small fragments of metal within the treads which caused the severe binding problem. I put a tiny bit of lube and tried to screw the top on.. it did ultimately screw on but remained tightly fused. When I attempted to gently open the chamber the " tool" broke off.Also the "UV light " did not function...

I bought this to use at the flea market. I have found some really good deals there, but I have learned that not all that glitters is gold. This has come in very handy for examining jewelry to make sure that it is real. It also works great on old coins. It comes in a little carrying case to protect it and a lanyard to help you keep up with it.

Thant's right, this is a singlet loupe, Come on, what did you expect at this price? I just took out the glass to confirm the obvious. However, apart from the lie written on the item, it's a decent little magnifier. Yes, there is more distortion around the edges, but the middle view is pretty smart. So they are handy little tools.

Just got this in the mail and as soon as I put the lanyard on it, it broke as I pulled the end through the loop. I purchased this for my plants and identifying pests close up, it’s hard to use while actually looking at the plant. You have to have it practically ON the leaf which means you will have to wipe and sterilize it for every plant you look at.

I'm using this product for jewelry and coins. I'm a collector so this is a must have for any collector that really wants to do the job right.

Purchased and had issue with light. Requested a replacement and that one arrived worse. Light is useless unless your in complete darkness. Also, the uv light didn't work at all. I have ordered more batteries for the one I kept thinking that maybe they were just about dead. We will see. I'd advise to try a different model.
