Port & CompanyMen's Tall 50/50 Cotton/Poly T Shirts

My long-waisted man requires longer-than-normal length t-shirts to fit properly, but his slim physique prevents us from going up a size for length, because then the extra width hangs off of him and looks equally ill-fitting. So we special- order tall large (LT) shirts, which are all better than the standard sizes found in most stores for either L or XL. However, this Port & Co shirt runs a bit slimmer than other LT brands we've tried, so I would not recommend it for huskier tall dudes. On the plus side, it performs better than other brands after laundering, because the hems on the sleeves and the bottom don't get :"rolled up" -- the shirt keeps its overall shape. Color also is great -- no fading so far.

Bought six of them at a good price. The fit was fine. The length was fine. The shirts were ok at first but after a few washings, they began to pill. Pilling got worse as time went by and now they just feel scratchy against my skin. Sent some of the same shirts in a different color to my son at school and he has experienced the same issues, so it’s a safe bet it’s not my washing machine causing the pilling: his college dorm washer is not as gentle as mine!Don’t like the fabric, and for that reason alone, I would not buy again.

The shirt fit great until the second time I washed it. Then it shrunk about two sizes in the torso and 4 inches in length. The neck is also very tight right away and only gets worse after washing

This shirt does not fit the same as the tall size Port & Company Jersey Knit polos, which I love. I am a tall (6'6") and pretty thin (205 lbs) man, so finding shirts is always difficult. This shirt is just ok. Its long enough, but it is a little big around in the waist and the sleeves are too long to wear this as an under-shirt under the polos.

I order one size larger than I wear to account for shrink issues after being laundered. It fits wonderful, nice and breathable on this 98 degree (Fahrenheit) day. It’s actually a tall fit unlike cheaper shirts that claim to be a tall.

True to size, tall is long and doesn’t shrink.

Smelled like chemicals but tried it on and it fit loosely, which is what i wanted. Had my wife wash it once to get chemical smell out and it shrunk at least one size. Not loose anymore. Guess thats why it was cheap!

Fit well, color is as expected, not quite as thick feeling as Stafford brand from JC Penney’s but we’ll see over time how well they hold up. Price was comparable and Stafford is getting harder to buy.
