Full disclosure: This item was tested in a licensed childcare center. Talk about setting up the product to fail...imagine the scene of 20 toddlers going to town on plates of spaghetti, applesauce and cottage cheese! At first glance out of the box, this apron bib is impressive! It is made from a high-quality, heavy-duty material (yet lightweight) that you would expect from some adult protective clothing. It is large enough for full body coverage, so even the most aggressive eaters are protected from the havoc. It is extremely easy to put on and take off (without making the child even messier), and it completely protects the clothing underneath. We have tried many different options in search for the best bib or apron to minimize the collateral lunch damage in our toddler and preschool rooms, and this was head-and-shoulders better than anything we have tried. It washes up extremely well, and I can tell it is going to last many many washes. I am excited to finally declare victory over the war on lunch! I can't wait to get the rest of these bad boys in the hands of our brave teachers :)

It said "Wipeable and machine washable for easy cleaning." I do not find that I am able to easily wipe it clean and reuse it the same day. It usually needs to be washed in the washing machine before the next use, especially if pureed or mashed moist foods were served. Will prevent my baby from needing a bath/clothing change maybe 50% of the time. I expected the material to be less porous. There is a plastic-y backing to it but moist foods still seep through onto clothing sometimes. Is better for foods that are semi-dry.

I love that these keep my cloth covered high chair and my toddler’s clothes clean, my almost 2 year old however has decided that he HATES wearing them anymore. I’ve had to resort to feeding him mostly naked anymore. He gets really sweaty with these on, I think you should sew these with the inside out. I tried reversing them a couples times, but feel like he’s already made his mind up. The outside is cloth and the inside is like rubbery to repel liquids from soaking through.

The idea is good. It covers kids clothes and highchair and grabs food that would otherwise fall in the highchair and eventually on the floor. BUT.. it’s not wipeable. Material should be wipeable. I have to soak and wash it every night and it’s all stained after only having it for a week

I gave it 2 stars in absorbency because it doesn't absorb which you wouldn't want anyways lol. I absolutely love this smock and my 1 year old does too.... She doesn't fight me to put it on... She hated bibs but this is a WIN for us!!! I no longer have to clean up around her or have the vacuum ready after she's eaten!!!

It keeps the baby from getting dirty but it takes for ever to dry so you would have to buy at least 3 to have enough for each meal. It would be better if it was cotton on the part that touches the baby and some plastic that could be wiped easily. Be careful with the strap/Velcro, it can hit the baby pretty hard if you don’t holdIt tight when undoing the Velcro. I was excited about this product, used it a few times only.

WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL OF MY LIFE!!! So handy!!!! No more terribly messy babies! This is so awesome we love this!!

In the picture it shows that it hugged The tray and when you put it on the tray actually goes around it but the only problem is is when it’s all the way around it your child when her or his arms are in it Hass to lean forward there is not enough mobility for the child
