This thing works great! Use it to depress the piston incrementally, so as not to spill brake fluid or require excessive peddle pumping after. Study, well built, smooth operating tool. So much better than a C-clamp for depressing a brake piston.

Easy to spread HUGE Porsche Turbo pads. Didn't like the round handle. Sometimes in the way. I cut 1 end off and removed it, but I can still reuse it if necessary. Great tool.

Product wasn’t as agile/strong as I expected. Ended up bending during use. Had to buy new calipers since it could do the job.

It's cheap, did the job, and very low quality. The threads on the screw are very rough. Took lube and exercise to get to work at all.

Spreader tabs bend immediately when trying to use. Completely useless, threw in garbage & went back to C-clamps. Absolutely false advertising & material strength claims.

Great disc pad spreader. Super easy to use. Only issue will be is with multi piston brake systems but that is easily rectified by leaving the worn pads in while using the tool.

I gave this 2 stars, because it may have just been user error. But the sucker kept locking up on me as I was compressing my caliper. I kept having to remove the tool and use considerable force to unlock the turning mechanism. Ended up having to resort back to compressing the caliper manually.

This was solid and made quick work of spreading the 2 brake pistons for the brake work. A recommended buy.
