I was under the impression this was a much higher quality vice than I received. It will work for small items and for anything that does not require precision. It by no means will work for small work on a hobby mill.

Fits perfectly in my water pan I use With my Dremel drill press stand I use for lapidary work .. will be getting a few more.

This is the perfect size for working on jewelry and small things. I was surprised at the quality of it since it wasn't costly. strong and sturdy parts used and excellent material. I might get another since now it makes things easier i can work on more than one at a time.

This vise is crooked. Not particularly sturdy either, which would have been ok with a workaround for the price (if you attach it to a 2x4 or sumsuch). But since it's crooked and jiggly, it just doesn't do what it is suppose to do - keep things sturdy and fastened. Will be returning this.
