1Storm Motorcycle Modular Full Face Helmet Flip up Dual Visor Sun Shield: HB89 Arrow Orange

Crash Results: Not bad... BUT....
Bought this for a friend as a gift recently. Construction is sturdy, cool, and cosmetically well finished. Lets you put glasses on without sliding them through the front.Friend had a drop and slide on asphalt and tested this helmet the ol' fashion way. During his fall the helmet did protect the top and sides of his head. BUT, while sliding when his chin hit the front guard inside the helmet (where the open button is located) the visor flipped open to introduce his chin to the pavement. He got away with some wound cleanup and a bandage on the chin. Just a BAD placement for the open button.Overall the thing took a nice beating and protected his head.

The best thing about this motorcycle helmet was the price
The best thing about this motorcycle helmet was the price. The pros:*Not expensive*Two visors built with on the helmet and easy to use. The outter clear visor can be used all the time and the other is for day time use.*It can be altered to a half face helmet to full face helmet.*Very comfortable to wear (I also wear a doo rag to not get the inside padding of the helmet dirty).* breathing doesn’t fog up the visor due to having a mouth cover built inside.* meets my needs of having headphones on when applying the helmet on my head.* it’s a clip chin strap instead of my old school chin strap* very comfortable to look from behind me and backforward.* very light* vents are easy to use and keep you cooled offCons:*Wind noise can be heard when going over 40 mph* fitment is a size larger than normal. I normally go with a size medium and a large fit me as it should. my head measured at 23in from my left eyebrow to my right eyebrow. (Not really a con though).* chin clip adjustment is difficult but not impossible to do.*

5 stars all the way
5 stars all the way. We bought 2, one for the wife and I. They were sent out right away and we got them quicker than expected. The following day I rode over 100mi. Can I say, I've never been a fan of the flip tops, but now I'll never own anything else. This helmet was comfortable, the mechanical portions work great and they look badass. My wife's faceshield came with a scratch, the sender got right on it and send a replacement the following day. So all I can say about them is this is a great company that sends out a great product. And inexpensive!

Great build. Great capabilities and accessories.
I'm just gonna come forward and say that this is probably one of the most satisfying helmets I've had the opportunity to wear. I've tried my friend's helmets and more, but they seem to be overpriced, or underwhelming in the quality department. The 1Storm struck a perfect harmony. The build quality is astonishing. I keep expecting things to fall apart but they just keep trudging on strong. The shaded inner visor is easy to pop down and pop back up on the move, it is a bit inconvenient if stopped unless you're in neutral because your left hand has the clutch pulled in. The modular aspect of it seems to work seamlessly, it took me a couple minutes to find the latch the first time (it's behind a fabric cover on the underside of the chin) but once I did I never needed to look again, I could just unlatch it with feel alone. The modular flip-up also clicks securely into place, if it's not locked shut it'll tilt up a little in a noticeable fashion until you close it. If you want to ride with it up, it'll stay up even when you're braking hard at a sudden red light or traffic. I'm almost done, I promise. One thing I didn't notice until I had the helmet for 2 or 3 weeks and either is not mentioned or I may have misread, is the Bluetooth headset cut outs inside of the helmet. Once you pop up the comfort lining it's easy to access. Last but not least I do have a small point of criticism, mind you it is not enough to detract a full star from this helmet. The buttons to pop the comfort liner back into place are a bit finicky. The ones closest to the chin in the jaw area especially. The liner itself doesn't move but I do notice the small separation when putting the helmet on and my OCD personality has to fix it every time. Barely takes a second. After a while of owning it and taking on the free way I have to say one really big downside is the wind noise. At above 60 mph the helmets wind noise increases exponentially. I’m not sure this is exclusively a problem with this helmet but my ears were ringing after a 2.5 hour ride and it’s definitely a problem I’m trying to remedy. A set of ear plugs could fix it which I’m working on buying.

Love this helmet
Love this helmet! I was involved in a major accident recently and this helmet saved me. I very well could have died and the only part of me that wasn't hurt in the accident was my head even though I hit it extremely hard. I will be buying another one as sonar i can ride again

Good helmet overall and worth buying
Received my helmet ahead of schedule and excited to try it out. I'll admit, I didn't listen to the folks that said to order one size larger and now I wish I had. It is a bit snug but I have used clamps and pucks to compress the material that rests against my ears. The helmet itself is of good quality but compared to my previous HJC helmet, it is really noisy but I do like the ventilation better. The built in visor is great, no more sunglasses to swap at dusk while riding.Do I recommend this helmet, yes! You cannot beat the price and overall it is a nice piece of equipment and it matches my Vmax.

Saved my life
On February 1, 2020 I crashed my Harley Davison motorcycle on the road. I was flown from the bike and landed on my left side including my head. Fortunately this helmet that exactly what it Was designed to do. It took most of the impact very well. I am here walking and talking with some injuries but alive Due to the helmet doing it’s job.

Stylish, comfortable and quick to remove.
Good quality helmet with great finish. The quick release ratchet buckle makes helmet fitting and removal very quick and easy, far better than the old fashioned "D" buckle.

Inexpensive, with every feature I want. Wind noise ...
Inexpensive, with every feature I want. Wind noise is understandably high however, so be aware. Followed the fitting instructions and it fits perfectly.
