Advent Factory 10 Inch Large Advent, New Large Advent, The Advent, OEM Woofer P001-31858

Hard speaker to find. Somewhat overpriced but sounds great. Increased the value of my Advent speakers from $150 to $500.

The driver appears and sounds identical except for the thin board that goes around it. I think it’s overpriced simply because you can’t find the replacement elsewhere anymore. I’m still glad I bought this because I love my speakers. I would recommend the company and the product to anyone who needs the replacement part.

Easy installation!

They fit perfectly. Amazing sound. Better than I remember my original DQ 10’s sounding. Very tight and detailed. Purists will tell you to have the originals refoamed (and I may refoam mine someday) but for now, I am quite happy with my new woofers.

Popped this into my 45 year old Advent speaker and it sounds great again. The foam on both woofers had rotted and I bought the foam replacements from this company. That fixed the right speaker but the left still sounded distorted. So I bought a new woofer. Easy replacement and works great.

Performs adequately at moderate listening levels. Heavy bass can overwhelm speaker leading to cone rub. Not an overly impressive speaker.

Great replacement for original item

Item I received is not what is pictured in the product description. I received and older 10" Advent woofer with a downward facing foam. The back of the speaker is too big and does not fit my speaker cabinet. I need the one like in the photo advertised. I will add a photo of what I received.
