needed a new sponge for mt wet palette and this worked great

Hard to find in the store these days so it was great to get them.

I just wish these came in a multi pack, but if you rinse it out and let it totally dry once in a while it lasts a long time.

This is a good sponge replacement for the wet palette. However, after the first use I noticed mold beginning to grow. I never had this issue with my old sponge. You will need to add a surfactant to stop the mold. I used some of the brush cleaner I had, I rubbed it on the surface with my hands, it seems to help.

Allows you to govern the amount of paint that gets exposed to air, and thereby avoid waste due to drying out during use. High-end acrylics are pretty expensive. Also keeps allocation of paint moist during use.

Follow the directions precisely and you'll not be disappointed. Works as advertised. Best sponge for a wet palette - period!NOTE: LIGHTLY spray hydrogen peroxide (yes, peroxide like you use in first aid) on both sides of the sponge after wetting, but before placing in container. This will eliminate any chance of mold forming (this comes from Mrs. Masterson herself!).**** (Stop slobbering on your brushes - yes YOU - and YOU - you know who you are! Stop licking the brushes and slobbering all over them! ;) )

I do like this a lot. I wish it was just a slight bit bigger. As it barely reaches the edges. Also the paint stains it easily. But it doesn’t really matter. Just doesn’t look as nice. I sure enough don’t want to do without it!!!
