This item was a perfect replacement for my clock; it fits nicely and looks good. Uses a AAA battery, so easy to replace battery. Have only had installed for a week- but so far so good.

I had to work to make this fit in my Waterford clock. I double checked measurements several times before ordering but this was still a little small for the opening. We did get it to stay in but took some additional wrap around clock. It looks nice though.

Claims to be 2.8 inch, more like 2.2. The difference is the rubber ring that takes up the additional space between the clock and the mount opening. It is a soft fit on my clock, so I expect it to fail not to far into the future.Also, the back plate (cover for the battery) loosely attaches and covers the adjustment wheel as well as the battery. It will likely fall off when you remove the clock from the mount.A decent, if short lived, clock.Made in China.

Easily installed as direct (like for like) replacement of failed unit with only minor inside diameter wood working required. Failure on old system due to battery connectors, which could not be easily repaired.
