Real silk!
Came with a sample swatch for material verification, which I thought was BRILLIANT!It's a little short and high in the pits. Straps are approx. 12" adjusted to the loosest place, could be 14" if you want to take the adjustment thingie off and sew the strap directly to the back. Length is about 12-15" down the side seam (15 laid flat, 12 while wearing it).Given that, If you're super busty or have a longer torso (or both!) I'd size up. That being said, my measurements are 42"-30" and it worked for me. If you have more than a 12" difference I'd definitely size up though.Only real drawback is that it's pretty see through, but since it's so cheap I don't really care too much. Just means it's going under things or with a sports bra.Super, super soft. Definitely at LEAST a silk/cotton blend but my money is on real silk. So all the benefits that entails applies here. Airier than cotton. Excellent wicking and good insulation as a base layer. Insulates when wet and dries quickly. Cool in the summer, warm in the winter. I buy silk because I can't wear wool (allergic) so it's important gear for my outside adventures and I'm well acquainted with knit silk. This is a cheaper knit (the thread isn't as fine or as thickly woven as higher pried pieces), but it's still priced cheaply enough that it's a good deal.Overall, I'd recommend it! Just be aware that you're not getting silk satin and it's see through.

Good insulating layer
I picked the right size (M), but the camisole seems to sit a bit high under the armpits. I'll have to see if it stretches when I wear it. I am 5'4 and 140 lbs with a somewhat long torso. The silk is lovely to the touch and is very good light insulating layer.

Huge, Inconsistent Sizing
I recently decided to make the switch from synthetic camisoles to knit silk for daily wear. I had tried another style from Metway (the one marketed as the Silk Nightgown), and size S fit me perfectly. Thus, it was my expectation that the camisole would fit the same.I purchased this in both Black and Beige, and was disappointed that they were massive. I am really confused by the sizing, since I am a US XXS/XS (B33-W26-H35) and based on the chest measurements in this listing, I should be between S and M. But size S was absolutely huge on me and was like I was wearing a US M. Especially since the photo above shows this cami as form-fitting, I would need an XXS based on this sizing. Even more confusing when reading other reviews saying this ran small! If this had been the correct size, I would've liked to keep it. I like the simple style, and I like that Metway uses a medium weight knit silk that is still lightweight and comfortable, but doesn't snag easily like looser-knit silks. To those who are unfamiliar with knit silk, it may look similar to synthetic tricot, as knit silk looks very different from charmeuse (satin), habotai, and washed silk we may be more used to. However, knit silk is temperature-regulating and has a very soft and drapey hand, unlike synthetics. And unlike the other Metway "Silk Nightgown" I reviewed, the straps are sewn correctly, with the adjuster in the back rather than the front. The one thing I would change about it other than the fit would be to change the straps to be elastic, as the knit silk stretches out easily, and I could see these straps stretching out over time.Overall a good product, but inconsistencies in the fit and sizing are a problem.

Soft and sheer but the armpits sag out/gap
I liked how sheer and soft it was but the straps were way too short even at max adjustment. The armpits also gap weirdly, they kind of sag outward while the rest of the cami is form fitting and it’s very obvious. I have an A size cup and I feel like if I had bigger boobs the armpits might not do this but idk. Bc of the armpit thing I have to return.

Excellent base piece for those with sensitive skin
Received one of these for Christmas. I have hyper sensitive skin and this has become my second skin. I ordered a second, and am about to order a third. It's pretty much my base wardrobe for all weather now.

I love this
The silk feels so soft on my skin, I just love the feeling and the lightness of this I definitely will follow this company in hopes of finding other wonderful things like this

Straps too short, baggy under arms
Fabric is fine, but the straps are too short and the fit is too baggy under the arms.
