Leonardo da Vinci: 197 Drawings Kindle Edition

I read it in both Kindle Fire and Kindle Paperwhite. I suggest you to read it on Kindle Fire as the tablet allows a better reproduction of the drawings, even considering that them are in black and white.It's a book with illustrations, which you have to expand as they are little with some data. I think the main virtue is that it opens your appetite to see more of Da Vinci's oeuvre, and also the price is a fair one.

It is wonderful to see the passion he put into his studies. We are all so fortunate that these have survived.

A nice collection of da Vinci drawings.

I do highly recommend this addition in a compact A nice start for those who are new to LDV's work.

I had the privilege of seeing the truly amazing Praying Hands as a young man,and the awe I had has lived with me to this day.This is a wonderful collection of the greatest masters work,and lit the path to so much knowledge,in so many fields.Magnificent.

The images supplied in this book are super small and barely detailed. Not even 1 full page image.

With his reputations as inventor and painter, it's easy to forget Leonardo's qualities as a draughtsman. This book redresses that imbalance. The reproductions, in colour, show in detail the different media that da Vinci used. Great value.

The delicate originals are done a disservice by poor quality printing.
