I'm deployed to Afghanistan now but I left my Dell 180W power adapter back at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar while traveling. My Dell M4800 Precision laptop was mission essential so I ordered a replacement from Amazon and received it in Afghanistan in 10 days!

Seems to be working well so far for my Alienware 15 R3. I do find the cord that plugs into the wall to be on the shorter side though in comparison to the one that came with the PC.

This is the 2nd one. I had the first one returned after using it for less than a month. Won't charge unless I get the cord in the right spot and if it accidentally bump it the slightest inch It won't charge and have to move it around to get the right spot for another 5 minutes. Literally sounds like there is a bee inside the charger and to scared to use it. (Don't want to risk it killing my PC). Now I'm down $40

A great price for what I needed. My charger stopped working and this was the best fit.

Not much to say about a charger that you buy, plug in the laptop and it works. this did exactly that.

This was a replacement for our old dell m4700 precision. works great

My new Alienware R3 actually takes 240W of power. When I plug this 185W in, a warning message pops up telling me this is underpowered. However, as long as I'm not playing any power intensive games, it will still charge the battery but is slower to charge than usual. As you can in my photos, compared to the original 240W, this 185W is shorter and less flat in shape. It is my fault that I got the wrong one, but it still works. I wanted a backup charger in case the original dies.

Works for Alienware R5
