Functional and warm
Very warm, great fit and comfortable. I took a lesson from the Brits... Bought these for use with a pair of Plus Fours Breeks to wear in tall snake boots. That way, I don’t have trouser legs bunching up and causing discomfort. Also more freedom of movement. Back in my early climbing days when I wore rigid mountaineering boots, I wore them with similar socks (stockings?) and with gaiters, were both warm and comfortable. I’ve already worn them this season deer hunting. Was easier to get in my tower blind. No binding at the knees. I’m getting more this month.

Great looking and very well made.
Love these socks. I bought them for a photoshoot with my grandaughter and they were perfect. They fit very well, stay up with or without the tie and look great. I don't actually need them for shooting here in the U.S. but I will wear them with snow boots and pants to stay warm and tucked. These are the finest socks I own.

Never expected to get these dress socks for my kilts. Always thought by the quality and colours that they would be too expensive...they are much more reasonably priced than some socks offered at Celtic festivals and the quality and colour is absolutely AMAZING. Everyone agrees, where I went!

I wear this part of socks about once a week. Has held up just fine to horseback riding, mucking stalls, and historic anachronism. Good sock. Easy to wash.
