Really a good book..sharing it with others

Karen is at her best probing hearts and the depth of God's grace. She captures the swarming darkness that sometimes paralyzes our lives. The story of Maggie and Ben can be any of our stories when we dare take off our masks and be honest with ourselves and each other. In that place God can work His miracles. This book certainly challenged me to live in a way that God can bless. Also to be a prayer warrior for a person God brings to my mind. Thank you, Karen.

I have been a teacher of children for forty-five years with our church and manyyears with a day care center, where I was responsible for the care of after-school age children from ages five to twelve. I have a tremendous love for children of all ages,which started when I was the second oldest child of nine and has three children of my own. My heart broke for what Amanda Joy had to go through in the foster system,but God is an awesome One and with prayer and trust in Him, we hopefully we canmake this world a more loving and safer place to be for all the children.PRAY! I read this a second time, with a few years between each reading. It was as compelling this time as it had been the first time. It has so much in it, so that it meets the needs of many readers. The relationship to the Triune God by the characters is so strong, and His messages to each of them is amazing, showing that God IS really present in the lives of believers through all our days.

I read when Joy Came to stay in two sittings. I am so in love with this book. It was very emotional all the way through. I will now go and read the rest of her books. I feel like I have found a buried treasure, this author, I read and listened on audio For close to 14 hours of pure God filled writing. Beautiful, sad, happy, scary, fun and truth filled book that I will never forget.THANK YOU KAREN KINGSBURY your writing is so very powerful. God bless you and all who read this book. Expect to be challenged, convicted and forever changed.If you like audio this one is absolutely amazing.

I've read almost all but this is one of the best. Very emotional, special.

Karen Kingsbury is my favourite Christian Fiction author! Every one of her books I read becomes my new favourite! This one will certainly help anyone understand Depression better and how God can walk you through it-just make sure you have plenty of tissues at hand.
