Much better, easier to use than Bluetooth......for me.....and others.
There are scads of sub-$20 OBD reader/transmitters. I have tried BT, and like almost everything BT in my life, difficult to impossible to pair, even at an $80 price point. Works one time, not again. And if you read adapter reviews and OBD SW reviews, LOTS of people can't get pairing. Not just me. So I went Wifi and cheap. Connects just as fast, same way as any other wifi device, no erratic pairing required. Mine has ELM327 version 1.5 which is later than the 1.4 of the $80 unit!It appears that very few people here understand that these device's, not just this one's, capabilities are limited to the Android/Apple/Windows OBD2 programs you are using, NOT the adapter! Some programs won't even let you clear an engine code. NONE will give you anything other than engine related information; no ABS, SRS, BCM. for that you will need a hard wired, better scanner, at least $100. Why can't these types do it? Ask God, I guess. Makes no sense to me.And NONE will give you the expanded codes by manufacturer! These are ones the dealer can see on his $5000 unit. These are expensive SW options with just a few programs offering them. Sometimes limited to a particular OS, too.If you don't want live graphing, HP estimates, exporting to CVS, etc. (Again, all in the SW, not the adapter.) I say buy a wired $40 scanner that will do all engine codes, live data, freeze frame when a code throws, and state emissions test readiness. Much easier to use, read, and take care of business. At $6 you will not find a better, more reliable deal. Now, have fun finding a SW program!

Awesome insight
This Unit is actually my second, I like the first so much I bought some for friends. It's suppose to be some cheap knockoff, but the unit works as it's expected to and provides you a lot of information about performance and how well your vehicle is working. There are a lot of Apps that you can use with it. Besides the free apps, I bought "DashCommand - from Palmer Performance Engineering, Inc." and together they provide a lot of details. The App is a big part of how this item works, since everything is in the App. But I suggest getting a good strong stable signal sending the proper information to the App has a lot to do with how well this unit's been working.

This is great! I just wanted to read my engine temp
This is great! I just wanted to read my engine temp, but turns out it does a lot more. With this OBD2 reader and an app for $5-$10, you can actually read and clear codes.

Easy to pair to iPhone
This WiFi link was easy to use and setup, it paired to my iPhone with no problems and the app linked to it better than expected, I would recommend this item over other ones I have used because it’s easy to see when it is active, the led lights face the driver and are bright enough to see in the day light. Overall great item

Didn’t work for me
I just couldn’t connect via Bluetooth but it was connected through WiFi however not being connected to Bluetooth didn’t allow me to actually see what the scanner says.
