WoW! What a fantastic little radio! It worked right out of the box. I bought this because it has multiple ways of powering, not just the crank or solar but it also can be charged by a USB or just use AAA batteries. It puts out a good sound and gets good reception in this tiny little package. And it costs half the price of the competition. I have another radio of this type with the multiple charging options, a little larger but i paid $30! Don't be fooled by the lower price tag. I compared this with the more expensive one and they have the same features, same quality - and this one is lighter and smaller so it's easier to pack in our go-bags. It has a charger for your phone and a bright flashlight. Al the buttons are very user friendly and didnt take me long to figure out. it came carefully packed and worked right out of the box. It's a Go Bag MUST HAVE.

After scrambling around during a severe storm trying to locate our flashlights, discovering our weather radio died, and that we didn't have the right size batteries, I headed to Amazon to find a reliable weather radio.This all in one radio is the perfect solution; flashlight is powerful and bright, easy to tune radio gives you the option of AM/FM, NOAA, and alerts. With multiple ways to power and charge, you'll never be stuck in an emergency with a dead radio. It's got solar, crank, an internal lithium, usb port, and AAA batteries as power sources.My only complaint is the telescoping antenna, it doesn't have enough tension in the screw to keep it in an upright, right tilting position. Fortunately, this hasn't effected our reception at our location.Other than that this is a great unit to have on hand at home, in the car, and as part of camping or hiking gear.

Awesome very nice looking and easy to use, came charged that was a + may have to buy additional USB cords.

I did not use this product. I sent one to my eleven year old grandson, who is fascinated with weather. His siblings saw it in use, and wanted one, too. So I ordered two more for them! If the other four kids want one, I may have to order more!!
